Dog Owners Beware: These Christmas Foods Can Harm Your Pet

Dog Owners Beware: These Christmas Foods Can Harm Your Pet

Christmas is just around the corner and you're wondering what food you can give your dog on Christmas Day!

Here are the most common Christmas foods that are TOXIC to your dog:

  • Chocolate
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Leeks
  • Shallots
  • Chives
  • Christmas Pudding
  • Mince Pies
  • Alcohol
  • Macadamia Nuts
  • Sweets
  • Gravy

All of the above are either toxic to dogs or will make your dog very ill.

Over Christmas time, before you give your dog leftovers or any type of human food, research the food first.

This is always a good idea to do, just to be on the safe side.

It's always nice to give your dog an extra treat over Christmas! Some leftovers at Christmas will be okay for your dog, just make sure you know that your dog can eat them safely.

Have a wonderful Christmas,
